Australian Wrestling League
Beginning in 2001, the Australian Wrestling League (AWL) is a fictional wrestling league said to be based in Melbourne, Australia.
"The AWL is the result of the merging of both the AWA (Australian Wrestling Association) and the EWA (Extreme Wrestling Alliance). Boasting 'Hall of Famers' such as Psycho Pete, Gothica, Adolph 'Fatty' Fatler and Seargent Spoon, among others, the AWL was quick to gain the attention of thousands of fans across Australia."
Two AWL members, namely match writer 'Coh G' and his associate 'Trinnasault', are also associated with the name 'Backyard Australian Wrestling League' as they host a backyard association of their own.
There is also a rookie wrestling league of the same name based in Brisbane and E-Fed (Action Wrestling League).
