SAATHII or 'Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India' is a national non-profit agency that since 2000 has worked to strengthen and expand HIV/AIDS services in India, in pursuit of its vision of universal access to healthcare. For over a decade, SAATHII has been working across sectors (government, civil society, affected communities and the private health sector) and levels of focus (national, state, district, institution) to advance its mission through training and technical assistance, information dissemination, operations research, networking and advocacy.[1]

SWATH works is close alignment with national health and development policies and programs including the National AIDS Control Policy (NACP III and IV) and National Health Mission (NHM). In the process, SAATHII tries to identify and address gaps in policy framework, program development and implementation.

SWATH provides ongoing technical assistance to 300+ governmental and non-governmental agencies and over 1200 healthcare facilities across more than 200 high- and medium-HIV-prevalence districts in fourteen India states.
