Ghoul Rifle image[edit]

You list this as yours, created in 2015. Can you supply any other information on its source, when you took it and so on? Because it looks extremely edited. The rifle itself is clearly just a Steyr_HS_.50, for instance - David Gerard (talk) 18:41, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the snipers are an upgraded version of the Steyr HS .50 / HS .460 and have additional features in terms of range and length as written inGhoul rifle. This is the best photo I got of the snipers from a military parade by the Al-Qassam Brigades in Rafah.
It is not always possible to obtain clear pictures of this rifle because it is not available to the public and is not used by anyone other than Al-Qassam fighters, so I made some adjustments using image clarification programs so that the focus of attention was on the rifle. عيسى الدبابسة (talk) 19:30, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Thank you for your interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption, a special set of rules apply to anyone editing in this topic area. Specifically, only extended confirmed editors are allowed to make direct edits and page creations to this topic area. Since you currently do not meet the requirements to contribute to this topic area, the page you created has been nominated for speedy deletion under G5.

If you think this page does not fall under the general sanctions described, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Additionally you may wish to read about the topic restrictions here. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 02:47, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Significa liberdade I am an old user of the Arabic Wikipedia and I have about 100 articles there, so I am well aware of Wikipedia policies and cannot violate them. I recently moved to translating Arabic articles into English, so I do not appear to have made a significant contribution to the English Wiki.
The article that I published on the Arab-Israeli conflict under the name (Ayyash 250) is correct and does not contain any errors, and I took care that it does not contain phrases that would lead to its deletion.
The Palestinian content on the English Wikipedia is very weak and no one writes much about it. Therefore, I hope that you will not put obstacles in front of me until I improve the content there, because I am the one who knows the most accurate information about it as I live there. عيسى الدبابسة (talk) 08:11, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, عيسى الدبابسة! Thank you for your response. I'm pinging Liz, the administrator who carried out the deletion for further input on this matter. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 13:42, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
