Hi, and welcome to de:wiki

[edit]

Please kindly have a look at your talkpage on German wiki here: I changed "Universitätsbibliothek Cambridge" to "Cambridge University Library". My nick is in de:wiki Emeritus. Greetings, Emeritus --178.26.40.137 (talk) 10:44, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Emeritus, That's fine. I didn't know how much we need to change the names of such libraries, e.g. translated or not translated. :-)

Changes of library names in de:wiki

[edit]

Hi, if you agree, I like to change Schottische Nationalbibliothek to new main entry: "National Library of Scotland" - there is no reason to use German name (few hits, sources like general library histories use NLS). At this occasion I will also create a Kategorie:Handschrift der National Library of Scotland Edinburgh according to en:wiki Category:Manuscripts in the National Library of Scotland.

2nd: the same will happen to "Irische Nationalbibliothek" -> "National Library of Ireland"; and 3rd: "Nationalbibliothek von Wales" -> "National Library of Wales". - Btw: I use this en account very seldom, because someone has "stolen" my nick, and Emeritus_s does not belong to my Global Account in wp. - Regards, --Emeritus s (talk) 02:38, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Emeritus_s / Emeritus,

That's fine. CambridgeLibrarian (talk) 06:50, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
