Also: if the photo you uploaded wasn't actually taken by you -- that is, if it isn't a selfie -- it will likely be deleted unless the person who took the photo goes to WP:OTRS and releases it from copyright, as Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. We are completely happy to help make sure the photo on the article about you is one you like, and I can understand why you prefer this one!
