Re Xenosaga

[edit]

Hi. I apologise if this comes as a shock, but I felt compelled to revert the edits you made to the Xenosaga articles. In the case of gameplay and lead among others, you added unnecessary and unencyclopedic comments that are more suited to a Wikia due to having an extremely personal tone. In the case of plot, the additions bloated already long and complicated summaries to the point where they were becoming unintelligable. While some details were left out of the plot and other areas, the summaries and elements that exist communicate unimpassioned information to the layman, which is part of what Wikipedia does. If you disagree, rather than just reverting edits you don't agree with, it would be best to raise any concerns you might have on an article's talk page, or with the Video Game WikiProject. Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nope (film), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 05:23, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Nswix. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Anthony Johnson (fighter), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nswix (talk) 05:51, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Nswix. I wanted to let you know that some of your recent contributions to Evander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson II have been reverted or removed because they seem to be defamatory or libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nswix (talk) 05:56, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed a recent edit you made does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Nswix (talk) 16:21, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Nswix. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Donald Cerrone, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Nswix (talk) 18:26, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Josh Koscheck, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anthony Johnson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Krista Allen. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 00:16, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced commentary

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:43, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:56, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Danny Masterson. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 05:48, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Titanic (1997 film) plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 06:32, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
