Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Naale program, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 05:58, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, understood. As the person in question was minor, I won't readd it. Endarm (talk) 10:29, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm ButterCashier. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Naale program have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. ButterCashier (talk) 14:45, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

hello, i think you undid too much. do you mean i should do less small revisions and use sandbox or try just publish all changes at once? i have the firsthand knowledge of the subject, what i'm trying to do is to find relevant references to reflect what i know. mostly what i was doing is adding references and removing material which looked like advertising. try also to understand, that the subject is not trivial as no similar boarding school program exists in the world, the closest is an orphanage. i will check your suggestions and advice. thanks. Hi, sorry for not responding earlier. I reverted your edits because I saw you added some information but didn't have a source, I think. Reverting your edit in the way I did reverted all your recent edits. It was a hastily judged decision, you have done lots of editing on that page and it'd be wrong to remove such work. Thanks for editing! ButterCashier (talk) 08:29, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I had our child going through the program who had graduated a few years ago. When I have more time I'll try to expand the article based on what I know now and when I can correlate it with sources to maintain objectivity. Those minor edits were needed indeed as it was a kind of work in progress, I had run out of time and I'm not able to do multitasking, I prefer to fully concentrate on the subject, I tried to have something not complete, but as perfect as possible within the limited scope covered. Control copyright icon Hello Endarm! Your additions to Naale program have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 11:29, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification, I just didn't know and I thought that adding the reference will suffice and anyway I planned to rework the section later as it wasn't natural to cite such large amount of text. Endarm (talk) 23:16, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Rewriting text in your own words is definitely the way to go! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, /wiae /tlk 23:28, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hopefully it is ok now. The cited part wasn't a research, it mostly just stated the fact of life routine there, so rewriting it from memory probably did it. Endarm (talk) 10:43, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
