Myponga, South Australia

[edit]

Hi Eddal,

I am writing about your edit of the above article. I must advise that I undid your edit which consisted of a link to an article on the Japanese Wikipedia. This is because the placement of the link in an infobox looks like an act of mischief. Please consider the surprise that a person reading the English language article about Myponga, South Australia will have when the page opens in a Wikipedia article written in Japanese.

I looked at the relevant Help pages on the English Wikipedia and found that it is acceptable to have links to Wikipedias written in other languages. However, there was not much guidance. My own opinion is that it is acceptable have links in either 'See also' or 'External links' and that these links should be clearly described as going to articles written in other languages.

I have now finished an article about Hindmarsh Tiers, South Australia which I originally started in 2017.

Please reply here on this page (and not on my Talk Page) because I am now watching this page. I have looked at some of the other edits that you have made and will provide some comments about these at a later time.

To Mr. Cowdy001

I apologize for having caused the confusion. Now, I comprehend your opinion and will be careful of what you mentioned.

Yours sincerely Eddal (talk) 15:20, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Yutabon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

See below, the youtuber is of relatively little importance with few subscribers and short lived coverage. It should be obvious that he does not meet notoriety requirements based on this.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thank you for your information. I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Improving the article couldn't be done because of the lack of recent sources about him. Considering continuous vandalism on the page, I understand a motive for deletion of "Yutabon". Eddal (talk) 13:52, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
