Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to James Arthur, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 11:53, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Queen Jessie J song

[edit]

Hello ATMC13,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Queen Jessie J song for deletion in response to your request.

If you didn't intend to make such a request and don't want the article to be deleted, you can edit the page and remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Music Notability

[edit]

Hi ATMC13. I've noticed that you've been attempting to make Queen (Jessie J song) into an article through new page patrol as has at least one other user, Onel5969. It seems like you might not be aware of wikipedia's guidelines around notability for music. These are the guidelines that help us decide if a song should have its own page or should be redirected to the artist or album. Right now there doesn't seem to be indication that this particular song meets those guidelines on the article page. So if you desire to recreate the page, please indicate how the song meets the notability guidelines with a sourced citation. This will prevent you from getting into an edit war, which is frustrating all around. Let me know if you have questions. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 15:19, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please stop changing "featuring Miguel" to "with Miguel" for the song "Remind Me to Forget". Do not change it again without a reliable source and do not add unsourced songs to discographies. Hayman30 (talk) 14:50, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On iTunes it says Kygo and Miguel not Kygo featuring Miguel so it should be "with Miguel" not "featuring Miguel". ATMC13 21:44, 15 June 2018 (BGT)

It literally says "ft. Miguel" on the cover. Sources on article also refer to Miguel as a featured artist. iTunes saying otherwise doesn't override what other sources say. Hayman30 (talk) 07:46, 16 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Kodaline makes a guest appearance on Sigala’s album so I put a guest appearance template on Kodaline’s discography page

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:06, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{unblock|reason=It wasn’t my intention to damage the page because most artists have guests appearance section on their discography page and I was doing that for Kodaline.}}.  -- ATMC13 (talk) 17:37, 27 September 2018 (BST)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jonas Blue, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to List of Emmerdale characters (2017) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Could you also please stop adding every relative possible to the infoboxes of soap opera characters. Per WP:SOAPS: "relatives listed should be limited to closer family and generations having some relevance to the character in question." Thank you.JuneGloom07 Talk 02:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Glorious (EP) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only two reviews out of WP:THREE found in a quick Google search. WP:TOOSOON to determine whether this extended play passes WP:NALBUM.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
