Redirects from unusual capitalizations

[edit]

Hi, AistisXD. Thanks for your interesting in creating redirects and improving our readers' navigational experience. Just so you know, it's usually not necessary to create redirects for nonstandard capitalizations like ALLY LAW or Tiara mack, unless the subject's name is frequently capitalized that way. Such redirects are not per se against policy, but they may on a case-by-case basis be judged unsuitable at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion, and more importantly are probably not a good use of your time. Special:Search corrects for capitalization as it is, so these kinds of redirects are only really helpful if people might be capitalizing that way when linking to a page in an article or when typing a search term directly into the URL. (And people who search via URL bar normally are aware that they need to get the capitalization right). Hope this is helpful. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 01:56, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
