Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Aptamer you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Aptamer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Serum. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It is almost never suitable to copy content from another web site to Wikipedia, as you did at Peptide aptamer, for more than one reason, the most important being copyright. When you post anything to Wikipedia you release it for anyone in the world to reuse it, either unchanged or modified in any way whatever, subject to attribution to Wikipedia. It is very rare that the owner of a web site licenses content for such very free reuse, and in those few occasions when they do so, we require proof of the fact. We don't assume that content is freely licensed on the unsubstantiated say so of just anyone who comes along and creates a Wikipedia account. JBW (talk) 17:18, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm no longer able to see the content you are referencing, because someone (I assume you?) appears to have deleted the content. I did not knowingly copy content from another website - I removed content written by another editor, which was formerly a part of the main aptamer article, and moved it to the peptide aptamer article, at the suggestion of a reviewer during the good article nomination process for the aptamer article. If some of that content was from another web site, I did not know that. Could you please let me know specifically which content you are referring to? And if you are the one who deleted the content, is there a way for it to be restored so that we can take a look at it together?
If you did delete the content, I would recommend you ask and check in with a good-faith assumption before taking such hasty actions and leaping to such conclusions. I no longer appear to have access to it, I suspect you are incorrect about it being copied from another website, and if I am correct, then you have impulsively destroyed several paragraphs of valuable content based on a mistaken assumption, and I will not be able to reproduce it because it's not my area of expertise.
