Information icon Hello, I'm El cid, el campeador. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 16:47, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at International Holocaust Remembrance Day, you may be blocked from editing. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 18:43, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There was false information in the article. I fixed it. Bh0686 (talk) 02:15, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. During the Holocaust era, 6 million Jews were killed, plus 11 million non-Jews, for a total of 17 million victims of the Nazis. Please see Other victims of Nazi persecution during the Holocaust era for data with sourcing. Please do not continue to make this change. Thank you ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 13:38, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mai Afanah moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Mai Afanah, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Your edit to the Ilhan Omar page violates Wikipedia policies. First, according to WP:BRD, once your addition to the article is reverted by another editor, you're supposed to go to the talk-page to seek consensus. Putting it immediately back is considered edit-warring, see WP:EW. Second, because of the discretionary sanctions covering any page or part of a page related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, editors with fewer than 500 edits are not permitted to edit that material (see the top of the talk-page, where this is explained), so you are also in violation of ARBPIA. I would strongly suggest that you self-revert your edit, without waiting for another editor to revert it. Thank you. NightHeron (talk) 16:55, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Bho686! Just to explain the above warning a little more clearly: you violated the rules at the article Ilhan Omar, because you made the same edit twice in less than 24 hours: here and here. If you do it again you will be blocked from editing, for violating the discretionary sanctions regarding WP:1RR which are clearly spelled out at the top of the edit page and at the top of the article’s talk page. Also for edit warring over disputed content; if someone objects to your addition, it needs to be discussed at the article talk page rather than re-added. About the material you are trying to add: you did not cite a source; that is a requirement. If you think it should be put into the article, start a discussion at the article’s talk page. Show the exact text you want to add and the references, and then there will be discussion about whether to put it into the article or not. -- MelanieN (talk) 18:11, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I have given you the appropropriate discretionary sanctions alert, that's an edit you are not allowed to make as it is covered by the relevant sanctions. MelanieN of course until I added the DS alert today, your point was accurate. Bh0686 you can use the talk page of articles covered by the conflict. You were lucky not to get blocked in May by the way, that was sheer vandalism. Doug Weller talk 19:03, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert for the area of Covid-19

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in and edits about COVID-19. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Adding, then reverting, vandalism

[edit]

Please stop adding vandalism, and then reverting it, as you have done today on three different articles. You may think it's harmless, but it requires everyone watching those pages to review what you have done. SaltySaltyTears (talk) 19:43, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Mai Afanah

[edit]

Hello, Bh0686. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Mai Afanah".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Celestina007 (talk) 20:23, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Mazi Melesa Pilip, you may be blocked from editing. BBQboffingrill me 05:20, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My source is she said when she was born, you guys have both years instead of the correct one Bh0686 (talk) 15:38, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The warning was for this edit where you added controversial content to a BLP but was unsourced, and had nothing to do with a birthdate. If her actual birthdate is available (currently it is discerned from her age given by a source at a moment in time, from which it's unclear when her birthdate is), we are obliged to follow the WP:DOB policy to respect the subject's privacy. BBQboffingrill me 16:09, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
She said she wouldn’t support Trump if convicted. This was in an interview, numerous reports on it. You could’ve just looked it up. https://pix11.com/news/local-news/mazi-pilip-republican-ny-wont-support-trump-if-criminally-convicted/ Bh0686 (talk) 17:58, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The WP:ONUS is on the editor who adds the content to provide a reliable source for the claim, especially for a BLP. If you add back the text along with a source like that, I will not challenge it, and likely other editors will not either. Next time if you have a source, please just include it the first time. Cheers! BBQboffingrill me 18:55, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
