WP:WARRIORS

Hi, I remove the transclusion of the the Novels banner from the requests page. This is because it does all kinds of clever things and add categories that are not applicable there. Is there any way I can help with your request I know a bit about the template logic and might be able to do some of what you ask if the "warriors" project agrees. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 10:53, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:HarryPotter 1.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:HarryPotter 1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:36, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Re image

I take your concern on board but disagree with you. Its just a purely decorative fair use image. What exactly does it show apart from the fact that the film had a different poster in America? And to be fair, that doesn't (under fair use laws) justify illustration, one sentence on it is fine enough. It doesn;t seem to offer anything to the article, other than being there to brighten the page up. Gran2 14:37, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

He's adding sneaky vandalism to pages with a template. It makes the tab reveal spoilers about Harry Potter 7. Flyguy649 talk contribs 21:01, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

It's cool, no need to apoligize, you're obviously doing an excellent piece of work on that article! Lilac Soul 21:23, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it's probably going to see a lot of evolution over the next couple of days still, but then hopefully it will have calmed down enough on the edit-front that we may get it into an actual article shape. I for one would love to have the plot summary cut by about 75 % (that's right, reduce it to one quarter its current length), but it would be pointless to start doing so now while people are still wanting to put every breath a character takes into the article :-) Lilac Soul 21:28, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your post to my talk page. Unfortunately, I have no idea what "useless and confusing topic" I supposedly posted to the Harry Potter page. Perhaps you meant to leave your message with someone else. If it was indeed meant for me, I'm afraid you'll have to clarify which of my posts you considered to be vandalism. Go ahead, change the template. Elfin (a he) is overseas currently so he probably won't be editing much. I'm not really the user in charge; I've never read the series nor do I maintain the articles on the Warriors series, so I really don't mind at all with the template. Sr13 04:19, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Three-phase electrification

OK, so what is wrong with the articles on www.interrail.it that give information missing from the wikipedia page?

Come to that, what is your expertise on three-phase electrification, or railways or transport in general?
