Please refrain from adding images into articles where the intent is to provoke, offend, or push a POV agenda. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Ace Class Shadow; My talk. 01:38, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the intent was not to provoke, that is a picture of the subject on the page as he will appear in the upcoming movie. Jgilkinson 02:02, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The image was deemed poor quality, and when it comes to this character, since it has appeared in multiple continuities/mediums, we need a good quality picture of more than just his face. We have to be able to prove why Wikipedia can use such an image, and "eyecandy" for a future film is not one of them. The best way is to use it as comparison to previous incarnations of the character and to do that we need an image that shows more than a mouth, and is good quality. That image, aside from the fact that it's only his head, is out of focus. Bignole 02:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

fair enough thank you bignole for stating why the img is not useable.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Venom23.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Venom23.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
