ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:05, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 2022

[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Josh Meyers (actor), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. December 2022

[edit]

As someone told you above, if you add a category to an article, you need to be sure that the article mentions it. For example, before adding categories regarding persons of Jewish descent, please make sure that the article mentions that they were Jewish and cites this fact to a WP:Reliable source. Thanks. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:40, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

FINAL WARNING: You continue to add unsourced categories

[edit]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia. Sundayclose (talk) 12:19, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are on the fast track to losing your editing privileges. You have continued undeterred in adding unsourced categories to dozens, if not hundreds, of articles since your previous warnings months ago. And you have made no effort to respond or communicate. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. Refusing to communicate is not an option. If you want to continue editing here I suggest that you pay attention to what other editors say about your edits and start complying with policies. Your first block may be temporary. Then if you continue disruptive editing, later blocks likely will be indefinite. Sundayclose (talk) 13:05, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for disruptively ignoring community concerns voiced here on this page.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:54, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
