Hello

[edit]

I see you are involved in a conflict situation with number of editors about M.I.A article. My advice to you would be to take a breather, think about the broader context of the article and wiki rules. All what you say is valid but there is a way to present the article so it does not violate Wikipedia rules and get’s you into conflict situation with other editors. There are many artiocles about conflict in Sri Lanka and RS sources for them in Wikipedia. If you want tosubstantiate what you want to say about her early life outside of the website, then you have to find the reputable sources backing up the extra ordinary claims in the article. If you need any pointers step by step how you want to see this article, you can always consult with me on my talk pageRaveenS 14:47, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You could use these WP:RS sources to improve the article and her links to Sri Lanka. Some are [1][2][3][4]. If I find more I will let you knowRaveenS 13:30, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Maya" dropping down the charts

[edit]

I put that in to indicate that its position in its first week was also its peak position. As there isn't a reliable source that specifically states the album's peak position in the UK (The OCC have not updated their archive for ages), I figured that the best way to indicate this was to note that after the first week it plummeted down the charts....... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:27, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Temple at Devundara head

[edit]

Ruins of Hindu kind can be seen here, if you can get some one to release the photos to Wiki media commons or ask someone to take the pictures, then it can be added to the article. Kanatonian (talk) 06:08, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar

[edit]

Hi, Lifebonzza. The GA assessment process is taking rather longer than I expected and the referencing is proving problematic. I just want to mention that you have done a great job so far, bringing the article to its current state, continuing to improve it, and working with me on the references. Hopefully we'll have the references sorted out in the next couple of weeks. Best wishes. Axl ¤ [Talk] 11:50, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

M.I.A. singles

[edit]

Sounds like a plan, although I think a FT would be a long shot. Somebody would probably insist that How Many Votes Fix Mix EP would need to be included, and there's no way that could even get to GA, let alone FA........ -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:31, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. An edit summary saying "+++++" is not useful. bodnotbod (talk) 17:03, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Chidambaram temple

[edit]

Hi, could you show your citation or reference for the statement "Its 2nd century BCE bronze statues and 2nd century CE stone sculptures" in the page about Thillai Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram? The current architecture is mostly a combination of later Chola, some Pandya, some Kadava and a whole lot of later rulers. And there's no evidence of ANY temple remnant from 2nd BCE or 2nd CE ANYWHERE. And definitely not a bronze! shash (talk) 09:31, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Everything Is Everything (Lauryn Hill song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Booker T. (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

CERN

[edit]

Dear Lifebonza, I have undone your addition on the CERN page about Chidambaram. The article in ref 37 does not mention it. If you have another reference explaining this statue comes from that temple, please add it and restore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pkoppenb (talkcontribs) 11:29, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
