Thank You, I Didn't Know That. (Gonzalochileno (talk) 14:46, 19 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Hi, why are you deleting the "Episode Title Quotes" from the The Amazing Race: China Rush page? This is our official title for the first episode. Please let me know if there's a reason for your dislike of this section and I can try to accommodate. Thanks. (DJL1688 (talk) 19:32, 10 August 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Well, where did you take those title quotes from? if they are not from ICS, then you can't put themGonzalochileno (talk) 18:48, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:HarrisWhitbeck.jpg

[edit]
Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:HarrisWhitbeck.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.108.130 (talk) 23:15, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please delete the image, i really don't know what i have to do and i don't have enough time. Gonzalochileno (talk) 01:25, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since you reverted me here, could you explain why? I assume that you disagree with the guidelines, but some reasons would still be quite nice to know. :) --Conti| 21:38, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Conti... i reverted you.... because it is for sure an upcoming tv show Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:51, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's certainly right, and I don't dispute that. I just don't think we need to tell our readers that with a template when the article itself makes it already blatantly obvious that it is about a future show ("The Amazing Race en Discovery Channel will premiere on September 2009"). That's why the guidelines (To be found at Template:Future television) say "This template should only be used on articles where future information is an issue in some way", and I don't see the issue/problem in this case. --Conti| 11:09, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

oh, i think you're right, if you want, please remove the template.... thanks!!! Gonzalochileno (talk) 16:06, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to you as well. :) --Conti| 21:18, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:TAREDC.PNG

[edit]

File:TAREDC.PNG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:The Amazing Race en Discovery Channel Map.PNG. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:The Amazing Race en Discovery Channel Map.PNG]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 11:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New TAR map

[edit]

Hi, Gonzalochileno. Can you upload on Wikimedia Commons the new TAR map you created, so that it can be used on other Wikipedias, and Wikimedia projects? Maybe you can upload it as a new version of the the old image, that is already on Commons. --SimoneMLK (talk) 16:36, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I uploaded the image in commons as a new version of the old image. Please delete File:The Amazing Race countries2.PNG, because i'm not going to use it anymore. Thank you. Gonzalochileno (talk) 18:29, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Countries visited.PNG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 02:01, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to add the copyright if i already uploaded it. Gonzalochileno (talk) 17:05, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting page protection

[edit]

Re this edit to The Amazing Race 15, the proper forum for requesting page protection is WP:RFPP. I have gone ahead and requested page protection, as I agree that there is a higher than usual level of IP vandalism on the page. It's now up to an admin to decide if it should be protected. —KuyaBriBriTalk 16:29, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Season 19 Survior logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Untitledmind72 (let's talk + contribs) 21:05, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Theres dont need to, because of 2 things.

  1. The current season finished is the season 22 (Redemption Island) as season 19 (Samoa), was also finished. No need to edit thats all.
  2. The recent season waiting to air is South Pacific, as you may not update outside more information. As since season 22 was quite primitive, we can just wait for season 23, south pacific.

I hope you can close such case so easily. (Singaporeandy (talk) 11:56, 16 June 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:The amazing race china.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The amazing race china.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Chilean People.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chilean People.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:06, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Chilean People.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Missing information was filled

[edit]

oh hi there. i would really wanted to see the real information in relation of TAReDC2. i still don't have the rights but i really wanted to see for his show. As long as i have other members i still being happy for the case. YeeGH user is not here for a while, so i would ask if you could forgive him. he is unknownly required for the help. he do is for your right to do, as the last time TARCR was updated even for the latter part. I want you to apologise Doctorguanghui, and he is for the sake of helping you, even you are not the boss. ApprenticeFan had updated for you and you should also apologise and thank him for the update.
YeeGH is not my friend or helper, and i am needed for the peace. i am an exibitioner.(Singaporeandy (talk)) —Preceding undated comment added 09:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC).[reply]

I don't know why do i have to apologise, i did nothing wrong Gonzalochileno (talk) 15:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, the reason is you had threathed Doctorguanghui and had scolded for that issue that you had not asked for some contribution of TAReDC2. Some legs had not been updated yet and would be helped by some watchers such as ApperenticeFan. If you do not believe me, take a closer look at your version history (Look at the part before the part you undo and said that he is still there.) Thank you and have a nice day. (Singaporeandy (talk) 09:35, 29 November 2010 (UTC))[reply]

I dont need anymore reverts. anyway i had to show who would you need to be credited for a reason: the person whose lucky enough to use the spanish translator and help to finish the remainder legs goes to talk. you should thank him. after you thank him, we are all even. you can forget about old issues on Doctorguanghui, since he accepted his apology, and his request fuifilled. Thank you so much for all of this. Remember, we all are even now. (Singaporeandy (talk) 07:32, 11 June 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Midpoint results

[edit]

Thank you for putting up the leg midpoint results for TARLA1 (or is it "TARDC"?). I'm having trouble finding the same information for older versions of the US version and the first two Asian versions. Do you think you could work on those?—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 03:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will try, i'm not good remembering :D Gonzalochileno (talk) 03:39, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever you can remember.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 07:05, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i'm doing the first half results for Leg 11 of TAR 8, but i have question, the midpoint results are the time they got to the stadium or the airplane tickets they got?, also i did TAR 10 results Gonzalochileno (talk) 20:39, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Whenever they get to the point where they're told to keep racing should be the midpoint results.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:37, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I put the Airplane tickets time, because team started the second half in that order Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Penalty notes is now fixed

[edit]

Please do not put the roadblock info in latest penalty notes (that includes the unknown member who done the roadblock.) For the part; It is unknown.... leg 3, it would be note 7. This do not count.... Unaired roadblocks would be in note 5. Thank You and please don't fix it. i did it already (most of TAR seasons keep the notes placed, for your freetime, please look at seasons 5, 10 and 11) (Singaporeandy (talk) 11:27, 9 December 2010 (UTC))[reply]

TARAus

[edit]

Someone on the talk page has questioned it, but I need you to check because you seem to be figuring these things out properly.

First, could you please update the Roadblock tally? An IP mentioned the three people you say who weren't seen doing the Roadblock.

And second, could you make sure that this is a double-length leg and not one of the no rest period between legs thing that TAR18 did?—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:12, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sam, Kelly and Tom were shown performing the roadblock on the "previously on" section of tonight's episode, and yes i can check who did the roadblocks on previous legs. But i don't know if it was a double length or a non-stop leg, but i'm pretty sure it was a double leg because the clue didn't say make your way to the pit stop, but something like find Grant somewhere. Gonzalochileno (talk) 00:22, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We only need the roadblock info for eps 7&8 because we have 6 roadblocks total for the teams that are left, the six teams from the last episode should have 8 roadblocks total. And maybe they did that for the Sydney and Lijiang legs in TAR18. I can't remember. If the first team in ep 7 of TARAus got a prize, then it's a non-stop leg. If not, I guess Leg 7 had no prize and they're calling this one leg 8.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:27, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, i updated the Roadblock tally, but i don't know about which kind of leg it is. Sorry :( Gonzalochileno (talk) 00:40, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, we'll find out next week.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:54, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lineups

[edit]

Hey, could you next time please also put in the lineup of the opponent? And the right players and positions for Chile? Kante4 (talk) 22:04, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really sorry, it was my first time trying to do it and i couldn't... I promise it was my last time editing that page Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:08, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, you can keep editing, just make it right, with both teams., ;) Kante4 (talk) 22:10, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay, i will do both teams the next time i edit that page... Thank You :D Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:27, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Amazing Race Norge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Amazing Race pages

[edit]

Do you think you could add first airing dates to the Latin American and Brazilian race pages? For each episode (for two-episode legs, add the second airdate at the midpoint)?—Ryulong (竜龙) 20:16, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I will try my best to do so, but i don't promise anything about TAR Brazil, BTW are you going to do the same in all the seasons of TAR? Also could you give me an example of how should i write it please, thank you Gonzalochileno (talk) 20:40, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the US seasons have them already in the rating sections. I would suggest just adding something like "*Airdate: [date]" to the top of each leg section.—Ryulong (竜龙) 22:00, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Could you check if what i did on the season 3 page is ok (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Race_Latinoam%C3%A9rica_3#Race_summary), if yes i will do it on the rest of the seasons. Gonzalochileno (talk) 22:22, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Amazing Race Norge

Why have you made the last place team after the elimination underlined and blue? Are they going to have a Speed Bump? Are they marked for elimination? What is it?—Ryulong (竜龙) 03:46, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They were the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop but weren't eliminated (which means it was a non elimination), since i don't speak Norwegian i don't really know if they will get a penalty or they were just non eliminated like in the first few seasons of TAR (and the teams are still underlined and blue). I will try to see if they got any kind of penalty... Gonzalochileno (talk) 03:54, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
