Ways to improve United Nations General Assembly Resolution 48/114

[edit]

Hi, I'm Zakhx150. Human7777, thanks for creating United Nations General Assembly Resolution 48/114!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. thanks for adding this. I note that the original flag added by another page patroller (the lack of citations) has now been resolved. Please note that there is currently a red marked flag on reference 2 that need fixing as it isn't rendering properly.

I've added a flag for copyediting - this is because the section 'Full text of...' has a lot of unnecessary white space in it that makes it quite hard to read. You look like a fairly new editor from your user page - thanks for being involved and keep making edits, but do check out the WP:MOS for the full, boring list of instructions. Cheers and happy editing.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Nagorno-Karabakh is covered by sanctions

[edit]
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Human7777, I saw you begin extensive work on this article. Thanks for your good intentions, but it is helpful for you to know about the ARBAA2 case and the past controversies in case you run into any disagreements with your changes. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:31, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @EdJohnston: Thank you a lot for your reminding and attention. I will continue to comply with the rules of Wikipedia. However, my last edits on the page have completely been removed, for this reason, I kindly ask you to review this action.Human7777 (talk) 18:13, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Have you raised the question at Talk:Nagorno-Karabakh? In case of any disagreement, we expect people to work for consensus and try to persuade others. If you are in a dispute, WP:DR explains some of the possible steps. EdJohnston (talk) 18:19, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear EdJohnston. Thanks a lot.I did not write anything at Talk:Nagorno-Karabakh. However, other editor who deleted my edits did not attempt to work for consensus, but just deleted. May I learn your recommendation in this case? Human7777 (talk) 18:25, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Explain the reasons for your changes on the talk page, and ask for feedback. If it turns out that only one side will discuss, admins can take any action that may be appropriate. EdJohnston (talk) 18:31, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

EdJohnston Thank you. I explained shortly the situation at Talk:Nagorno-Karabakh. Human7777 (talk) 19:00, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Formal mediation has been requested

[edit]
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Disagreement about the reliability and neutrality of sources in the article of Nagorno-Karabakh". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 26 January 2018.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.
