[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rave has been reverted.
Your edit here to Rave was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/es/label/680189-Hard-Beat, https://www.discogs.com/es/label/462359-Techno-Rave!) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:01, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning your edits on the Rave page.

[edit]

Hello Neki9999, welcome to Wikipedia. As you may have noticed, I've reverted your recent changes to the "Music" section of the Rave page. Although I'm sure it's made in good faith, you have not provided any evidence or relevant references to support your claim that Belgium is where the "rave" genre originated. I've also opened a discussion about it on the articles talk page, where I invite you to come and find a consensus about it should you so wish. Thank you and have a great day! PeakerPan (talk) 00:46, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. The source you have provided to support your edit appears to be biased and contradicts the generally accepted timeline of "rave" as a genre. The promo text of the film itself states: "Now is the time to tell the story that has been widely ignored by ‘serious’ music critics and the mainstream media in general." See WP:Reliability. Please engage in discussion on the articles talk page before continuing your edits, to avoid an edit war. Thank you! PeakerPan (talk) 01:14, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, it appears to be 201.214.251.133 that added the possibly biased source and did the revert. My mistake, I thought it was your edit. PeakerPan (talk) 02:03, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Belgian hardcore techno, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Immortals. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
