Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Mandeep Sajwan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

User:AleatoryPonderings I'm not affiliated to theindianhawk in any manner, the sole reason behind my preference is my personal opinion. I'm a regular reader of it and found it more in-depth compared to others. should i stop contributing.

Do contribute, but since your name is on many articles in indianhawk & there is a profile matching your account name which says Editor at indiahawk, COI declaration is mandatory for you. . Please declare on your user page what your affiliation is (a couple of sentences would do), avoid linking or using content from indiahawk as much as possible (definitely not in a promotional way) and your contributions will be welcome (do read the links in the welcome message above for clarity on policy for conflict of interest) Hemanthah (talk) 13:45, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
