October 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm SounderBruce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SounderBruce 22:58, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

Please don't remove captions from tables as you did in this edit.

Try to understand what you are changing in articles. In this edit to the Featured Article, Helium, you changed Helium is the second lightest and second most abundant element in the observable universe to Helium is the second lightest and second most abundant element in the world., which is complete nonsense. If you're unsure about what an edit will do, try it in a sandbox first. If you're unsure about whether an edit would be accurate, ask about it on the talk page first. --RexxS (talk) 18:06, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 24[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Minnesota State Highway 61, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Expressway. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm KN2731. An edit that you recently made to Wisconsin tornado outbreak of 2005 seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Stoughton, Wisconsin, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 14:39, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Swap the photo in the infobox[edit]

Just wondering how to go about swapping the current infobox photo with the photo of the Stoughton Opera House from the bottom of the page. I'm not an experienced editor. Could a recent editor consider this? Having the Stoughton Opera House photo in the infobox would be inviting, and it conveys an important, recognizable, and much loved feature of the city. Thanks.
