Please have a look at WP:TALK and WP:PA. I have indulged your personal attacks and talk page disruption so far, by hatting off the attacks, but suggest that you stop now. If you don't want help establishing notability for the Argentine band, that is fine, but that issue belongs on the talk page of the Argentine band in question. Continuing your issue at the VAL article is inappropriate. On the Venezuela Aid Live page, the band's participation is reliably sourced, our work there is done, so please confine your concerns to the talk page of the band, and stop the personal attacks. Also, please note that (besides calling someone else a troll) it is not OK to delete someone else's talk page posts: one and two. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:22, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SandyGeorgia it's convenient that you address the tone of what I said -- while your snide remarks get a free pass (e.g. "dan pena") -- and completely ignore my argument. Regardless, you didn't even get your accusation right: I didn't delete or change anybody's posts but my own, as your diff shows. I rephrased and consolidated them to remove the alleged "personalization" that bothered you so, leaving only the content of my objections. Feel free to address them. By the way, it's not your Wikipedia talk page; it's Wikipedia's and belongs to us all. The andf (talk) 20:08, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Right here, you deleted the entire section, including my posts, and causing a problem in that MaoGo had linked to that section in seeking help from WikiProjects for getting the band's article cited. This was done even after I ignored your attacks and personalization, and simply hatted them, without removing anything.

Andf, your tone and behavior is, to me, getting to be quite creepy, and pretty well beyond the norms tolerated on Wikipedia. It is just creepy that you are so upset that someone who lived in Argentina does not know this band, and the level to which you are persisting about this is scary. I am asking you again to stop, confine your issues to the band's page, and please take more care in the personal attacks you launch at others on Wikipedia. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:22, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SandyGeorgia Yes, I deleted it and that was a bad call; I contend that your selective tagging ("hatting") of only a portion of that section was also a bad call, because it looks as if you are shutting someone else down. My second edit has nothing wrong though, and didn't touch any of your comments. I know you know I've no problem with you not knowing a popular band in Argentina; I have a problem with you casting doubts about the notability of the band in the Venezuela Aid Live talk page instead of in the band's page, because the former reads like a politically motivated attempt to discredit a participant of Hands Off, while the latter is merely a harmless attempt to improve Wikipedia. Also adding phrases like "I lived in Argentina but have never heard of them", "dan pena", "en su casa los conocen", etc, looks a bit passive-aggressive to me. So take a deep look at how you behaved in that talk page: do you see any reason at all why Argentines reading it would be incensed? I was wrong to call you troll, but do you see any flaws in how you behaved? The andf (talk) 20:50, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this; I suggest your edits and tone on Wikipedia might be more appropriate for a blog. Know anyone who is a pro-chavez blogger? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:55, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any other accounts, or a conflict of interest, you would like to declare? As you mentioned, you've been here as long as I have, so there is no need for me to link you to the relevant policy pages. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 22:02, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't blog and don't know any political bloggers either, neither pro nor anti Chávez or Trump for that matter. I don't have any conflicts of interest; do you? I'm from Argentina and have never been to Venezuela. I do have opinions, just like you. The VAL article seems very biased to me, as if it was taking sides. I'm sure you know an article can state bare facts and still be biased, by downplaying aspects of one of two sides or being less detailed about them. It can even be unintentional! If you wonder why I took a stand on the Bersuit issue: because bias is like a weed, if you don't cut it when it looks harmless, it can take over your garden-- er, article. I see you're the author of most edits on the VAL page; I suggest you take a rest and let other people evolve it. Not me, I've no interest in it The andf (talk) 22:49, 2 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
