Simone

[edit]

On Big Brother 18, you've put simones age as 28 and on the list of housemates you've put 27.

Obviously a little typo then, she's 28. ThisIsDanny (talk) 17:05, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Love island

[edit]

How do you know which day the islanders have entered.

There's been 30 episodes.

Jamie and Theo entered on Episode 27 and you've put Day 31 Georgia entered on Episode 29 and you've put Day 34.

Surely it's Day 33 178.105.162.161 (talk) 11:51, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sue eviction

[edit]

Shouldn't sue's eviction on the nominations table be the same as winston's from Celebrity Big Brother 17 like 1 of 10 votes to save 178.103.33.21 (talk) 23:26, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No because they didn't actually vote to evict Sue, they just saved Chanelle. ThisIsDanny (talk) 23:27, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Love Island

[edit]

As there's only been 36 episodes. You need to give proof and detail of which Day it is. And how you know an islander left on a certain day.

How can Theo have left on Day 41 if there's only been 36 episodes. And Day 1 covered Day 1 and 2 in the villa. You need sources on this, because how will people know the days are correct. 213.205.253.60 (talk) 20:00, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Lauren's World/The Only Way Is Chardonay/Alex/All the others you've been, I'll explain. There have been 36 episodes yes, but 41 days because there's no episodes on Saturdays. Actually Monday (the first episode) covered Day 1 and 2 in the villa, and then continued from there. Though Monday officially was the third day they spend in the villa, which was shown as Day 3 in the second episode. It's really not complicated. If you haven't noticed yet, the Sunday or Monday episodes each week have merged days together to make 1 day. ThisIsDanny (talk) 20:33, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Surely the nominations table should say 'Evicted (Day 44) not 47. Because this isn't when he exited its when he was EVICTED46.233.116.170 (talk) 11:17, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Don't blame me. Actually if you paid attention you'd see that I was the one who changed it to Day 44. But others kept changing it back. ThisIsDanny (talk) 13:01, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing on Ice

[edit]

Stop removing my edits to Dancing On Ice Series 10. If ITV haven't announced a new series, why aren't you removing the source that says it is returning because I can tell you now that Radio Times is definitely not a reliable source. Multiple sources are confirming the new lineup, not just The Sun (the source I provided) so stop removing my edits when I know I am correct. Thank you. Pug05 (talk) 12:57, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pug05: Then yes the radio times source should be removed too. The Sun also recently "confirmed" the new CBB line-up - shall we add those to that page? No. ITV have not even confirmed the series is returned (Yes it's very likely) but until confirmation, nothing should be added. It doesn't matter what show whether it be CBB, Dancing on Ice, The Jump, Strictly, we do NOT use tabloids as sources for the line-ups. ThisIsDanny (talk) 13:02, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to remove the Radio Times source because it actually proves nothing. In fact it states it "could" be coming back. ThisIsDanny (talk) 13:12, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Second Chance Housemate

[edit]

Isn't the 'Second Chance Housemate' unnecessary on Big Brother 18 (UK)

Andrew is the last one remaining. What are you asking me? Is what necessary? ThisIsDanny (talk) 16:16, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Celebrity Big Brother 20's Sponsorship

[edit]

Could be both Castle Jackpot and Castle Jackpot Bingo since Big Brother 18 had the same situation, except Castle Jackpot Bingo was only shown pre-watershed, whereas the official sponsorship, Castle Jackpot, was shown at post-watershed. Crazylawrence (talk) 23:51, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well I didn't change it to that in the first place, so why are you asking why I did? You are quite capable of fixing it yourself, there's no need to be rude. I just misread it that's all. ThisIsDanny (talk) 22:50, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Somehow you managed to blank this page instead of retargeting it to the correct article. I've fixed it now. — Smjg (talk) 11:28, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've just realised what happened. So you accidentally moved it to Aaron Lively instead of Aaron Livesy. In this scenario, the best course of action is to use {{db-move}} (see page for parameters). — Smjg (talk) 11:36, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Smjg: Yes sorry, this morning I tried to change it back to Livesy but made a typo, oops then it wouldn't let me change it back to Livesy because it said it already existed. Basically I unintentionally made even more mess. I'm pleased it's sorted now though, thank you. ThisIsDanny (talk) 17:22, 29 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Love Island (2015)

[edit]

Hi ThisIsDanny, After recently reading your comments on my edit I can explain this for you. I am pretty new to Wikipedia and have not been using it that long. I was watching ITV2's Celebrity Juice and I could see Caroline Flack was on there. Most programs on TV now are assumed to be live unless it is very clear that it isn't. In this case it was not clear. When Caroline said 'it's back in May' you can see why I made the edit I did. Love Island has aired before in May so thought it must be true. In regards to referencing I can say that because It was not in righting I didn't know how to reference this. HO: Amy's death

[edit]

You said that Amy's cause of death was revealed because an episode showed her post-mortem which said she was suffocated. Do you know which episode that is? The date because I am really curious about seeing it myself. Arjoccolenty (talk) 08:23, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Of course @Arjoccolenty:. Episode dated 10 April 2018, James and DS Roxy realised that Ryan had tampered with the autopsy and changed it to blow to the head, however they found the original that said suffocation. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6hlxut Play from 10:10. ThisIsDanny (talk) 11:33, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Still I find it kind of weird that you would use your hands to suffocate somebody rather than strangle them to death but I guess it is possible. Arjoccolenty (talk) 19:57, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Love Island Series 4 2018 Ratings

[edit]

Hi, I can see you have started to display ratings for sereis 4 of Love Island. However, even though these ratings are from the BARB they are wrong. You have used the 7 day data ratings. Judging on other reality series like Big Brother etc. and drama series on wiki all ratings are recorded using the 28 day data which adds catch up services ITV Hub and others depending on the channel. These ratings have not yet been released. I will not remove these ratings as I'm sure you will correct your error. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 11:04, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Slindsell15: Just checked this out, and it's not true. Look back at all previous series of Love Island the ratings all go off 7-day ratings, and so does Big Brother (except BB18 - not sure why that's different). ThisIsDanny (talk) 12:57, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

ITV 2 most watch programms and Love Island

[edit]

Hi, I'm replying to your reply as well as talking about another issue. Even if other tv shows use 7 day data this is still wrong. 7 day data dose not include catch up services which is a key part of BARB's way of recording data. The way that is currently being used is not showing Love Island's actual ratings, which is unfair. Another issue it on the ITV 2 channel page. It says that love island holds the most ratings at 3.8m this is in fact wrong. On 10 data on the BARB website it states that actually the top love island rating is 4,054,000. I don't think you've included itv 2+1. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 21:45, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Slindsell15: Well like I said earlier, all previous series and other pages go by 7-days. I will change the ITV2 page though. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:54, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Love Island Series 4 Final Date

[edit]

It seems you have added a finish date for Love Island 2018. Neither ITV2 or Love Island have confirmed this and I know that wiki doesn't see Digital Spy as a valid/ reliable source. As of now we still do not know the exact finish date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 21:37, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Slindsell15: Actually Digital Spy IS a reliable source and has been for a very long time. And yes ITV have confirmed it too. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:57, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where have ITV said this? There is not conformation — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 00:38, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First bit of the Digital Spy article: "ITV has confirmed when the winners of the fourth series will be crowned, as the finale date has been set for Monday, July 30." Plus all TV listings now show the final: https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings/?sd=30-07-2018%2021:00 But you know all this I'm sure, stop trying to create an issue. Love Island 2018 Final

[edit]

Hi, I don't understand. Yes I get the final is still on telly but Caroline has said this as well as it being on the itv website. Thats hard evidence — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 21:27, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not saying you're lying. I know it's back next year, and I know sources prove it - which by the way you'll need to add to the page to the top section. But it's far too early to add it in to the series overview yet as 2019 is the only detail we have. Especially since this series isn't over yet. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:33, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Corrie cast changes

[edit]

Why did you remove the dates I'd added despite my providing the source of all 3 dates? Corabal (talk) 17:07, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Corabal: They weren't sourced. I realised afterwards you'd mentioned the website in the edit summary, but by then another editor had already re-added the dates and sourced them correctly. To source something you'd need to add it into the article rather than just mention it. ThisIsDanny (talk) 18:10, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

CBB22 and BB19

[edit]

Channel haven't said that BB will air from 14th September and haven't said that CBB with have 26 days. Tellymix and Radio times are not valid. Radio times CLEARLY state on their website that the listings are subject to change and are not final. In regards to Tellymix, I have used them many of times and each time my edit has been removed because it was not valid. Plus, how can we know that BB19 with have 53 day when it has not even started to air yet. These are just rumours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slindsell15 (talkcontribs) 23:35, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Channel 5 HAVE confirmed the final and start date. As they do when TV listings are released and confirmed every Wednesday. I added a source, and somebody else added a different source as proof. BBSpy has also confirmed this. "BREAKING NEWS: Channel 5 confirms Celebrity Big Brother final/Big Brother launch dates. CBB final: Monday 10th September, 9.00pm-11.05pm. BBUK launch: Friday 14th September, 9.00pm-11.05pm" However they have NOT confirmed that the series would air for 53 days. Hence why I removed that bit of information. They do however say it is currently scheduled for 53 days, which is always subject to change. ThisIsDanny (talk) 23:44, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

BB19

[edit]

The reason for me undoing these is because in the past I've made edits like this and they have been removed. I have used sources like those that have been added today. Other information that was added did not have a source so therefore I removed this as I can not see ANYWERE saying that channel 5 have said this. Big Brother S19 2018

[edit]

How did you find the missing ratings from the BARB? --Slindsell15 (talk) 21:46, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

BB ratings (without catchup) from the Top 30 added together with the catchup ratings only from the top 15. The overall total weren't in the top 15 four-screen, but there is an option to not select all screens, so you can see them individually and add together. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:49, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Top 30 official (excluding catch-up services): Tuesday: 0.99m, Friday: 0.98m , Sunday: 0.93m

Top 15 official (catch-up services only): Tuesday: 38k, Friday: 35k, Sunday: 35k

So just add together ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:55, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok, It's just the new way that the BARB is showing data is somewhat confusing. Is there a way the separate the main channels from the +1 channels? Thanks --Slindsell15 (talk) 22:25, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it's very confusing. And I'm not sure. There might be a way but I've only ever looked at the totals ThisIsDanny (talk) 22:28, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gland I'm not the only one. Quick question, if a programme got 7,585,668 million viewers would you round it/ display it as 7.58 or 7.59? Asking because you seem like a big editor and I've never seen viewing data rounded up before. Thanks --Slindsell15 (talk) 23:40, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@DarkGlow: Hello. When TOWIE announced the one episode a week change they said it would be 10 episodes in a series so that's why I just did 10. TOWIE S25

[edit]

Hello! I was just wondering, will you be doing the episode summaries for S25 of TOWIE? Usually for the shows I watch, I add the summary weekly after the episode airs but I'm not going to be able to watch most of series 25 live unfortunately, and you do a great job of summarising the episodes! – DarkGlow (talk) 21:34, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, yes I will be but like you I won't be watching them live so I'll get round to it when I can. I usually catch up later in the week. ThisIsDanny (talk) 06:54, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Circle

[edit]

Wouldn't it be better to put the series into separate articles? MSalmon (talk) 18:01, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, was going to do this but was going to wait until this weekend maybe when I have a bit more time to look for sources etc, especially for the first series to add a bit more info ThisIsDanny (talk) 18:09, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing on Ice

[edit]

@ThisIsDanny: Are you going to create the Dancing on Ice series 12 page? Because 4 contestants have been announced.

No I don't watch it, I don't know enough about it to create a page. But I do agree one needs creating. ThisIsDanny (talk) 22:18, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

TOWIE cast members

[edit]

Hello!

I noticed an IP has been editing List of The Only Way Is Essex cast members, and I was just wondering if you'd be able to verify their edits? I haven't seen the last episode of S25 yet, so I'm not sure if the counts are completely true. Thanks – DarkGlow (talk) 12:29, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@DarkGlow: sorry I've fell completely behind this series and haven't seen since maybe the third episode. Hopefully I'll binge watch and catch up fully by the weekend though. ThisIsDanny (talk) 18:22, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Another IP editor has changed the episode counts. Would you be able to review if they're correct changes? – DarkGlow (talk) 10:46, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to bother you again about TOWIE, but would you be able to write a short summary for the recent Christmas episode from S25? I can no longer access the episode to watch and write one. – DarkGlow (talk) 13:28, 25 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Celebrity EOTB

[edit]

If The Sun is correct (and that's a big if), and MTV is doing another series of Celebrity Ex on the Beach, is it worth splitting to another article, like with BB and CBB? Or will we class the series as series 13 of EOTB? Hope that makes sense! – DarkGlow (talk) 11:20, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Only thing is, even though this is a Celebrity series it's still billed as Series 11 (on news articles etc too) so it's not classed as separate. The last few series of EOTB USA have been celebrity ones too and have just carried on as S3, S4 etc. It's a tough one though. If it had have said this was the first series of Celeb Ex on the Beach and Series 2 is coming up then yeah maybe, but as it is I think it should stay for now. TOWIE series articles

[edit]

Hello – I just noticed that the "season_number" parameter in the television season infobox can be changed to "series_number" and changes the wording to British English. Did you know of this? Because I certainly didn't until now. I didn't change any because I wanted to keep it consistent with all 26 articles, but I think it's worth changing. – DarkGlow (contribstalk) 12:57, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DarkGlow. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Love Island (2015 TV series, series 8), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! – DarkGlow21:38, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies @DarkGlow: not something I'd usually do. At the time I only found The Sun as a source online, which given how unreliable it is I was going to wait until their page went up on the Love Island ITV website. Unfortunately I forgot to keep checking. ThisIsDanny (talk) 21:47, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
