Oiva Paloheimo

[edit]

Hi Veeti Davidsson! After seeing your recent draft on Tirlittan, I decided to create a stub for Oiva Paloheimo. I'd welcome your help in expanding the article; I'm somewhat limited in adding to it since I am not fluent in Finnish. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 19:35, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maila Paloheimo moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Maila Paloheimo, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 17:43, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Maila Paloheimo

[edit]

Hello, Veeti Davidsson. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Maila Paloheimo".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the db-afc, db-draft, or db-g13 code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 21:41, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ruben Oskar Auervaara

[edit]

You added Ruben Oskar Auervaara to list of fraudsters, which was great.

But I'm just curious about why you created a redirect Ruben Auervaara and piped the link as Ruben Oskar Auervaara when you could just as well have linked Ruben Oskar Auervaara directly. JIP | Talk 15:15, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Lapland (Tampere)" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place to address the redirect Lapland (Tampere). The discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 June 11#Lapland (Tampere) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. - Jay Talk 20:32, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Perho, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Caretaker. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't use raw URLs in your references. Deb (talk) 20:21, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please remember to use the present tense when adding Events to Date or Year articles - in keeping with all other entries on those pages. Deb (talk) 20:29, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You are still doing this wrong. Please format references correctly and use the present tense. Deb (talk) 13:11, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia

[edit]

Smile emoji Hi Veeti Davidsson! Thank you for your edits to Turku. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Tampere into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 12:20, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding photos to pages that already have plenty of photos

[edit]

I'm guessing there's some drive to add photos from Finland to Wikipedia; while that's fine in cases where an article is missing photos, please don't add photos indiscriminately where there are already plenty (or too many) photos, unless that photo adds something distinct to the topic (other than being from Finland). OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:24, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tenses

[edit]

As I've previously mentioned, the present tense is to be used when describing events in Day and Year articles. Deb (talk) 13:21, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive editing

[edit]

Making errors is forgiveable. Making them more than once is forgiveable. Repeatedly ignoring advice about entries for Day and Year articles and how to format sources is disruptive editing and you can be blocked for this. Deb (talk) 07:54, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Query

[edit]

Hi Veeti Davidsson. I'm Blablubbs, and I'm an administrator here on Wikipedia. I wanted to inquire about the relationship between your account and Abel111222 (talk · contribs). Do you operate both of these accounts, or do you have any other connection to Abel111222? Please do not edit further until you answer this message. Thank you.  --Blablubbs (talk) 21:02, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Frankenström has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NFILM

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
