Thank you for your recent contributions, such as The Born This Way Ball Tour in Hong Kong. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 23:48, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Date linking

[edit]

Hi, thanks for your contributions. Please note that WP doesn't normally link dates, year, months, etc. Nor common geographical names such as "Asia". Tony (talk) 02:54, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks for help :) Robotukas11 (talk) 08:43, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you need to stop creating an article for every stop of the tour, along with a slew of redirects to each stop of the tour. Few, if any, of the stops on the tour are notable enough in and of themselves to be worthy of an article. Even the most successful tour in history (Bad World Tour) doesn't have breakout articles for every stop on the tour. Please stop. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 20:29, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well maybe then someone should create articles for Bad World Tour concerts, because it's the most successful tour :). Robotukas11 (talk) 18:52, 04 September 2012 (UTC+3)

The article The Born This Way Ball Tour in Taipei has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

An individual concert? Why?

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Justin (koavf)TCM 07:48, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to include at least a lead sentence in every article you create, even an "under construction" stub. Alternatively, please start your articles off as subpages of your user page, and do not move them into the main "article space" until they are more complete. There should not be visible articles in the encyclopedia which have nothing but an infobox. I'll add a sentence to this one for now. PamD 16:22, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Files missing description details

[edit]
Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 10:25, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your help is needed!

[edit]

Hi there :) I just want to let you know that your help would be appreciated to finish translations in Lithuanian for MediaWiki's VisualEditor software. The current progress is 48%, and VE will reach lt.wikipedia in less than a week (Jan 13th). Also, if you feel like you want to walk an extra mile, please check if this language needs further help with the tasks listed at MediaWiki. For example, the User Guide is 25% complete, while sadly there's no Lithuanian Portal for VE. I know you can change this! Thanks, and happy 2014! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 20:39, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sochi 2014 olympic coastal cluster map-lt.svg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Varied Surf Igloo (talk) 15:52, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:46, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
