Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Megan's Law. Well, the reason I deleted an in-line reference is that since the statement does mention the name of the researchers, and the statement can be fully verified by a study (whose researchers are the same as the statement says), the verifiability of the article won't decrease even if that in-line citation is deleted. And the red-links I added are necessary since these two psychologists are important to a certain extent.--RekishiEJ (talk) 16:56, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

here you deleted almost 9000 characters, but with an edit summary of "expanded japanese example", which doesn't seem to jibe with a deletion of so much material. I've reverted this edit until this can be figured out. Can you tell me what's going on here? Thanks! Herostratus (talk) 16:01, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please add some citations to UltraEdit that support the article's notability? Currently, the citations are only from UltraEdit's website and from two minor reviews. Kingturtle = (talk) 01:46, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-navigable entries on disambiguation pages

[edit]

Hi. I see that you have re-added a non-navigable (red link) entry to the Yui disambiguation page in a recent edit here after I earlier removed it. Unfortunately, this creates a couple of problems. Firstly, you may want to familiarize yourself with the guidelines at WP:BRD. Basically, when you make a Bold edit and another editor Reverts it, the next step in the process is to Discuss the dispute on the Talk page, not to revert back, which you did here. That reversion is the first step towards edit warring, and is not a good way to proceed. Secondly, and more importantly, your edit to the Yui disambiguation page unfortunately does not comply with the Manual of Style, which stipulates that every disambiguation entry must include one (and only one) navigable blue link. Disambiguation pages are intended to assist navigation, and in that respect differ from regular articles, in which red links are generally encouraged. Please also have a look at Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts, which sums up the guidelines nicely. You will then need to either create an article for the mangaka in question (assuming she is sufficiently notable) or remove the entry from the disambiguation page until the article has been created at a later date. Drop me a line on my Talk page if there's still anything you are not clear about. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 01:10, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not in Front of the Children

[edit]

You previously mentioned this book at the talk page for The Anome.

I've gone ahead and created the article, at Not in Front of the Children: "Indecency," Censorship, and the Innocence of Youth.

It's still very much a work in progress, as I'm quite in the middle of ongoing research for additional secondary sources.

Don't re-add bogus speedy deletion tags to articles after they've been declined by administrators. WilyD 08:29, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! The reason why I re-added that speedy deletion template is that the name is explicitly incorrect. The first letter of a person's surname should always be capitalized, and the article does not meet this rule. Evidently it is the creator's mistake.--RekishiEJ (talk) 09:53, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Articles that're at the wrong capitalisation should be moved to the right capitalisation. Redirects that're at the wrong capitalisation just send people to the right capitalisation. But an article at the wrong name shouldn't be deleted either, but moved. WilyD 13:47, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I know, then Robert kehoe should be redirected to the disambiguation page Robert Kehoe (which was created by me) instead.--RekishiEJ (talk) 14:01, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Err, so it should, but you asked for it to be deleted ... anyways, I fixed it. In the future, you can just retarget redirects yourself (or where disputes arise, use WP:RFD. WilyD 08:59, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Joseph Aub requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hi Rekishi, thanks for your contributions to the Vital Articles Project! I would like to get your views on a few Taiwanese-related topics and your opinion on whether they are vital or not. I'd appreciate it if you can help me. :)

What do you think about Taiwanese aborigines and Kaohsiung? There are currently 25 ethnic groups in the Vital Articles Expanded - Ethnology section. I think it should grow to about 30 and Taiwanese aborigines would be a great addition as it is comparable to other major indigenous groups. Also Kaohsiung is the second most populous city in Taiwan and fairly significant for the country. It strikes me as more vital than some cities listed though I am not completely sure about it which is why I asked for your advice. Gizza (t)(c) 07:48, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Taiwanese aborigines should be listed, since some people argue that all native speakers of Formosan-languages originated from Taiwan, though now proven to be false. And Kaohsiung should be listed since it was the host city of the World Games 2009. In fact, as long as a city was the host city of the Olympic, Deaflympic or World Games, it should be included in the Level 4 list.--RekishiEJ (talk) 05:27, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Logo of PowerArchiver.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Logo of PowerArchiver.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Diderot

[edit]

I'm no longer surprised he isn't on the list, because this was one of the very first omissions I noticed when I first saw the list two years ago. While it's sad that's how long it's taken for someone else to bring this up, this too is no longer surprising, because of the immense amount of time we've wasted on proposals to add topics that are nowhere close to being vital. Over the last year you have become the one person most responsible for that: 你浪費我們的時間太多了。 You're aware of the quota system; you're aware that the list is only supposed to contain ten thousand articles; and yet you continue to suggest adding people as trivial as Bill James. If you want to see more people listed, propose raising the quota for that section and decreasing the quota of a different section. The fact I constantly have to read things you've copied and pasted without any comment as to how the proposal relates to anything else on the list is the single most unpleasant aspect of working on this project for me. If you continue to show no critical judgment whatsoever, I will start opposing each and every one of your proposals without reading them. Please reflect on how your lack of self-restraint may be discouraging others from participating in this project. Cobblet (talk) 18:31, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your stance. Next time I make a new proposal about VA/E, I would add some comment about how the proposal relates to anything else on the list. By the way, currently the quota of people is 2000, and there are 1983 articles about people in the list, meaning we can add another 17 ones to it, hence my proposal to add Bill James, the man who coined the word "sabermetrics" is not a problem since though there were some experts conducting sabermetric research before, it is him that made sabermetrics much more influential.--RekishiEJ (talk) 10:31, 3 August 2015 (UTC) 10:33, 3 August 2015 (UTC) altered a few words[reply]
Do you sincerely believe Bill James is one of the seventeen most vital omissions from the list? Do you really think he's more important than Barry Bonds, which nobody else thinks is vital? If not, why are you wasting our time with this? 動動腦筋吧。 Read Wikipedia talk:Vital articles/Expanded#Just a thought: there are many more than 17 people suggested in that discussion alone, and every single one of them is probably more vital than Bill James. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Jean Capelle

[edit]

1) as there is only one article about a person with this name there is no need (at this time) to create a disambiguation page and 2) the correct page location would be Jean Capelle (footballer). GiantSnowman 12:50, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the reason that I created that disambiguation page is because in French Wikipedia there are two articles about Jean Capelle, referring to different persons: a soccer player and a politician, and both of them are notable, just like I moved Wayne Coffey to Wayne Coffey (American football), then turned the redirect page into a disambiguation page. And the name Jean Capelle (football) is not inappropriate since the French Wikipedia also uses football (meaning association football in English) to disambiguated Jean Capelle.--RekishiEJ (talk) 13:00, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said - there is only one 'Jean Capelle' on English Wikipedia, and the correct location anyway would be Jean Capelle (footballer). Your recent move was also botched as you did not move the talk page. If you move again without a WP:RM then you will be blocked for disruption. GiantSnowman 13:20, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But though currently there is only one article names Jean Capelle, in fact there are at least two Jean Capelles on earth, and Jean Capelle mention in the article contemporary Latin refers to fr:Jean Capelle (homme politique), not fr:Jean Capelle (football)!--RekishiEJ (talk) 13:41, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Yuri Drozdov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. About proposals to add articles about some military topics to WP:VA/E

[edit]

I and Aeonx have proposed to add them to WP:VA/E, they are marines, amphibious warfare, airborne forces, paratrooper, ground warfare, special forces, special operations, hand-to-hand combat, Close quarters combat, Fire and Movement, Patrolling, Ambush, Blitzkrieg, and Charge (warfare). However, almost no other people support these proposals. It is strange that no military fans support these proposals, so please check them out and decide whether to support them.--RekishiEJ (talk) 15:53, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dabs

[edit]

Hello, RekishiEJ. I have reverted (again) your addition to the dab, but have nothing more to add than is in my edit summaries and the mesage you received from another editor on the same issue: User talk:RekishiEJ#Non-navigable entries on disambiguation pages. I do hope you will look at my reasons in the edit summaries and the guidelines linked in them and stop edit warring. If you feel strongly about this person's notability, I would suggest you create an article, either directly or through WP:AFC. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 10:49, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh dear, you've now started the same thing on Joseph Aub. Please remember that all entries need a blue link which mentions them - in this case it has one, but you have twice removed it. By all means adjust the wording in the entry if it needs updating, but if it doesn't have a relevant blue link, it doesn't meet MOS:DABENTRY and it gives the reader nowhere to go. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 20:56, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your changes at Joseph Aub. Unfortunately, you've made the same error again at Dmitri Lebedev. We don't link to list of gunsmiths but to articles, not list pages, with info on the person. There is also no benefit from adding two red links. I would ask you one more time to either WP:WRITETHEARTICLEFIRST or remove it. I'm not prepared to edit war (especially not as this is now almost at WP:3RR) but this really is a waste of people's time and I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve - especially confusing as you don't write edit summaries, so I'm unclear if you're just not getting it or being pig-headed deliberately. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 15:06, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I wanted to emphasize the fact that there is a Russian gunsmith called Dmitri Lebedev who developed PL-14, a handgun, so I reverted your edit and added list of Russian weaponry makers to inform readers about the figure. Really don't know that non-list articles should be added next to red links rather than lists.--RekishiEJ (talk) 15:12, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
User:Boleyn is 100% correct. The list you're trying to count as your blue link doesn't discuss the subject at all, or suggest that they could have an article; it merely includes a bullet entry—that you added! That is not in any way sufficient coverage to justify listing this person on a dab page. As Boleyn has explained to you, if you think this person could be covered in a (referenced) article, then create that article—before you put his name back into any more lists or dab pages. I'm not impressed by your stubbornness on these other dabs either, so consider this a warning. Start playing by the rules, or find a new hobby. —swpbT 13:15, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Christian Warren

[edit]

RekishiEJ, this has continued on several dabs now, where you just refuse to follow the guidelines and continue to edit war - if it continues I will need to open a discussion about your conduct. Please, please stop this - it's such a waste of everyone's time. If you think they are notable, you may want to create a short stub on them - that would solve the issue. However, per MOS:DABENTRY: Never include external links, either as entries or in descriptions. Disambiguation pages disambiguate Wikipedia articles, not the World-Wide Web and per MOS:DABRL: A link to a non-existent article (a "red link") should only be included on a disambiguation page when an article (not just disambiguation pages) also includes that red link. Do not create red links to articles that are unlikely ever to be written, or are likely to be removed as insufficiently notable topics. To find out if any article uses the red link, click on it, and then click "What links here" on the toolbox on the left side of the page. If the only pages that use the red link are disambiguation pages, do one of the following: Unlink the entry word but still keep a blue link in the description. Red links should not be the only link in a given entry; link also to an existing article, so that a reader (as opposed to a contributing editor) will have somewhere to navigate to for additional information. The linked article should contain some meaningful information about the term. Start a new article for the red link, using the description on the disambiguation page. Make a redirect to a page where the item is described Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 10:30, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dmitri Lebedev

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Dmitri Lebedev shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —swpbT 15:10, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

RekishiEJ, you have now reverted 4 times on this article to make the same edit, which goes beyond WP:3RR, as well as the fact that there is no licence to go to 3 reverts, if before that you are edit warring. You have been warned numerous times in edit summaries and on your Talk pages, and have behaved in a similar fashion on other pages since the warnings were given. This will be reported at the appropriate noticeboard if there are any other incidents on any other dabs after this. Boleyn (talk) 17:04, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Consortiumnews

[edit]

The article Consortiumnews has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article is a recreation of this article which was merged into Robert Parry (journalist) a couple of years ago. Since then, the Parry article has increasingly been used as a WP:COATRACK for Consortium news (see article in between clean-ups here - talk page discussion can be found here). The author of the article has never entered into a dialogue about the content, and the article is dependent on WP:SELFSOURCE and a WP:BIASED source. Essentially, it remains a coat rack to create credibility for the organisation due to the calibre of articles it publishes (i.e., WP:POVPUSH). Per WP:INHERITORG, Robert Parry may be WP:N for an investigative journalistic piece in 1985, but that does not make Consortium news a notable news organisation.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Consortiumnews requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Iryna Harpy (talk) 10:13, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Donald Trump of the East, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, RekishiEJ. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Consortiumnews for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Consortiumnews is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Consortiumnews until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.  Sandstein  16:45, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

History of Ireland

[edit]

On the contrary Rekishi, Carlwev added his support far too late. My close of the proposal was itself very late. I could have closed it as early as the 15th of December last year. It is User:Carlwev's responsibility to voice his support earlier on. And technially, User:Rreagan007's close was wrong too. If I archived the proposal at the time of the close there is no way that Carlwev could have supported it. But I'll follow WP:Assume Good Faith and WP:Ignore All Rules and let it go this instance. But I hope this doesn't create a precedent where people support and close something after it has been closed. Vital Articles will turn into chaos. Gizza (t)(c) 23:23, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

But since you closed (but not archived) this proposal, Carlwev could't support it and then Rreagan007 couldn't re-close it. It's not acceptable, hence history of Ireland should not be added to WP:VA/E.--RekishiEJ (talk) 06:42, 18 January 2017 (UTC) fixed a mistake 06:53, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I supported your proposal to add William Golding, since he not only was ranked third in the list of "Top 50 Greatest British writers since 1945" by The Times but also included in the meta expanded VA list. What's more, he wrote Lord of the Flies, which has been considered to be one of the best English-language novels, hence he is vital. However, there are still some vital figures not included in the list, e.g. Albertus Magnus, Nicole Oresme, Li Shizhen and Richard Doll, and the expanded list can only include 10,000 articles, hence not all figures considered vital by you can be added.--RekishiEJ (talk) 04:20, 19 January 2017 (UTC) altered a clause 04:22, 19 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at John Mark Dougan. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. --Dr. Fleischman (talk) 17:30, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mercury poisoning vital-article level

[edit]

Could you re-check what is intended for this article? You tagged it tagged it as level=5 but the edit-summary said "level 4". DMacks (talk) 15:40, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I wanted to tag it vital as level 5, however I didn't check the edit summary thoroughly, thus the summary said level 4 rather than 5.--RekishiEJ (talk) 15:48, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, as long as it is actually tagged the way you want. Thanks for double-checking. DMacks (talk) 16:37, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note

[edit]

Please don't edit other people's comments, as you did here. It is a violation of TPO. J947(c), at 19:02, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I didn't edit other people's comments. I just corrected all spelling errors in the text of all proposals and removed redundant blank lines and useless sharp symbols.--RekishiEJ (talk) 14:14, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Spacing cosmetics while doing an edit is fine. But there is no need to correct others' spelling errors is what TPO says. Normally when you're pointed out a policy or guideline you go and read that rule before replying. Common sense. J947(c), at 18:04, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please stop. There is nil need for your edits. J947(c), at 04:04, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@RekishiEJ:, @J947:, RekisjiEJ, I do not mind when you sometimes correct my few spelling/typos errors in the text but please do not put notes like that in public place. You can do it on my own talk page but you should not do it on our project. It is no needed speciffically when you are talking about honestly quite trivial mistakes. I have noted that even native speakers currently sometimes do not put word "to" before verb (for example "(...) do you want (...)" instead "(...) do you want to (...)" at their comments and you do not correct/noted it despite fact it is still on the VA talk page. I do not think these ones are not any insulting mistakes. I always try prepare text in my sandbox long time until I put it in project's page but if you are going to give note for me, please put your comments on my talk page instead project's page. Thanks. Dawid2009 (talk) 10:55, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Dawid2009:Okay, next time you make any spelling or punctuation errors in talk pages with the Wikipedia namespace, I'll put notes pointing out these in your talk page rather than others.--RekishiEJ (talk) 11:27, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If Dawid allows it, just correct the obvious mistakes. No need to litter talk pages. J947(c), at 04:24, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Stew, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slumgullion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 00:43, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed Slumgullion. The use of the stew DAB page does not need to be repaired as it serves its purpose correctly as a hatnote. Cheers! Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:07, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Re: RT/NYT

[edit]

Just wanted to clarify that I was adhering to the advice that, while not outright blacklisted, RT is among the news organizations that are advised to be treated carefully as sources on Wikipedia in virtue of being state-funded sources, such as China's Xinhua, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency, and others (and in fairness, that also includes Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty for the United States), although such sources may be reliable for determining the official postitions of their sponsoring governments, plus the list of sources given in WP:RSPSOURCES specifically discourages it to be used about politics. That being said, you are free of adding a third source.--EdgarCabreraFariña (talk) 17:55, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
