Self-Efficacy (book)

[edit]
  • ... that "hardly a single aspect of life" lacks deep consideration in Bandura's 1997 book Self-Efficacy, "one of the most significant books of the last 50 years," according to reviewers?
  • Reviewed: Lepas anatifera, on Dec. 3: DIFF
  • Comment: Hook can be verified in-text in reviews cited to Butler (presently ref #5) and Lightsey (ref #3). The book is cited >6000 times in PsychINFO alone. If hook seems excessively promotional, please suggest other hooks (articles about books typically need to generate all the interest they can! :-) ).

Here are two possible alternative hooks (also from the nominator) -- Presearch (talk) 22:48, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that Bandura's 1997 book Self-Efficacy neglected to deeply consider "hardly a single aspect of life," according to reviewers, and was "one of the most significant books of the last 50 years."
ALT2: ... that Albert Bandura's 1997 book Self-Efficacy neglected to deeply consider "hardly a single aspect of life," according to reviewers.
  • Is ready to go. I opened up the lede to explain the term upfront, but the article itself is in good shape. I would prefer the original hook, the ALT suggestions are harder to grasp. History2007 (talk) 04:20, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
