Time Will Crawl

[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by 87Fan (talk). Self-nominated at 02:15, 11 February 2017 (UTC).

After linking and bolding the article, I found it, and find it interesting and moving, on good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. - Why don't you just say "and later named"? - Waiting for a qpq, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:05, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
I've made the change, I agree your wording is good. What is "a qpq"? Thank you 87Fan (talk) 01:46, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

- a QPQ is short for quid pro quo - its a requirement that if you have more than 5 DYKs in the past you must also review another nomination as part of your own. You appear to have no prior DYKs therefore you are exempt. Best, Mifter (talk) 07:17, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

Sorry, 87Fan, I saw your name before and failed to check. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:05, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
No problem everyone - I'm new to this process so I'm just trying to figure things out. Please let me know if there's anything else I need to do. I appreciate everyone helping out here! 87Fan (talk) 16:41, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
all fine (after I moved the last comment above the line that says: do not write below ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:07, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
I'm a little confused, this DYK doesn't appear in the list of nominations except as a comment under a different article on February 11th. Shouldn't this appear on the list of articles from February 6th where I first put it? 87Fan (talk) 01:54, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
No, because the approved ones now go to a separate list, - all together got so long that the templates appeared only as titles. There's navigation on the upper right to all DYK related stuff, including the queues, where it will go to a prep(aration area) and then queue, before appearing. Good to watch at all stages, because changes keep happening, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:35, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
Sorry to be dense. I don't see this article anywhere in the prep or queue lists. Shouldn't it be there? 87Fan (talk) 03:48, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Nothing wrong with asking ;) - First step: Template talk:Did you know/Approved, the new list of the approved hooks, as in the navigation. Second step (to come): going to prep (where you can still change if needed). Third step: going to queue, protected, only admins can change, - if you see need for one, go to discussion. - The easiest way to locate a template is to go to it and then look up "What links here" on the left of the page (helpful any page). Happy Valentine's Day! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:26, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
Ah! That's what I was missing! I found the other pages but not the 'approved' page. Thank you for helping me! :) 87Fan (talk) 15:53, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
