Wheeler No. 1 Oil Well

[edit]

Created by Acroterion (talk). Self nominated at 15:27, 7 May 2013 (UTC).

Article reviewed; new, long enough and good. Interesting and verified hook. But it needs some rephrasing. The well is not so familiar worldwide and hence it's location should be mentioned in the hook. Rest everything is good. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 04:32, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
How about
(ALT 1) "... that the Wheeler No. 1 Oil Well in Drumright, Oklahoma was still producing after 100 years?"
(I find the name of the town rather charming), or
(ALT 2) "... that Oklahoma's Wheeler No. 1 Oil Well was still producing after 100 years?"
Also, I noted the peak date as you'd asked on the talkpage, and referenced it. Acroterion (talk) 12:18, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Good that you could find the peak period. And lets go with the charming name then; ALT1 approved. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 18:01, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
