R42s

[edit]

@Kew Gardens 613: @Epicgenius: I'm hearing the R42s are really retiring now, and the remaining cars are part of a contingency fleet only, so would it make sense to move the R42s to the retired section? Mtattrain (talk) 20:54, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mtattrain, is there a reliable source for the R42s being retired from regular service? I have heard of this, but only on forums like NYC Transit Forums and Facebook. epicgenius (talk) 20:56, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Epicgenius: Yes, internal MTA data, but I cannot provide it easily. Although, the fact that theyve been gone from rosters since May 2019 is a good source? Mtattrain (talk) 20:57, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Mtattrain, I think we can do this, but we will need to provide a reliable source in the future. epicgenius (talk) 20:58, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Epicgenius Yeah I hear you man, I wish I could leak info out without compromising whatever. Mtattrain (talk) 20:59, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
