This page has been the subject of massive, consecutive vandalism. I rv to last non-vandalized edit.

Consider protecting the page!Veronica Mars fanatic 14:01, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it has calmed down. Everything related to the French Revolution seems to get at least occasional vandals. When this is ongoing, semi-protection is probably the best choice. In the future, if this comes up, see Wikipedia:Requests for page protection: that will get a rapid response, which a comment on the talk page typically will not. - Jmabel | Talk 17:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Éleuthère Irénée du Pont/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The section under "Death and Legacy" lists one of his sons as Henry A. DuPont (1812-1889), and the name is highlighted. However, when I click on the name, I am taken to a different, later Henry A. DuPont (1838-1926). I would like to read about the 1812-1889 person! Thank you, Richard W. Nosker

Samuel Francis Du Pont

[edit]

Under Children from "Sophie" there is a link to "Samuel Francis Du Pont" which is not one of Éleuthère Irénée children but a nephew. I am not sure how to fix that. I don't know if Sophie was a daughter (with the same name as his wife) or not. Also, I am not sure if "Samuel Francis Du Pont" should be erased from the page or somehow referred to differently. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rehud (talkcontribs) 06:34, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
