[edit]

The source does not mention the birthplace. Why has it been added? Is there any other source that clarifies this? If not, this cannot be in the article. Çerçok (talk) 08:40, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Alexikoua The new source you added still does not state the birthplace. Çerçok (talk) 20:31, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What part of "Saint Niphon of Lukovo" are you not understanding? Khirurg (talk) 20:41, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It reads: "Saint Niphon of Lukovo near Cheimarra". Alexikoua (talk) 20:45, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That does not mean birthplace. See this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athanasius_I_of_Ohrid. He was from Mani. If you do not have a source on the birthplace it will be promptly removed. Çerçok (talk) 21:26, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You need to understand how religious personalities in Christianity are styled. Athanasius was a metropolitan bishop, Niphon was a saint. Everything is sourced and nothing will be removing. Also the synaxaristis is more detailed "ἐγεννήθηκε, τὸ 1315, στὸ χωριὸ Λούκοβο τῆς Χειμάρρας, γι’ αὐτὸ καὶ ὀνομάζεται καὶ Χειμαρριώτης.". Please read the reference at least once.Alexikoua (talk) 03:00, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
