[edit]The idea that this is something particularly English and 16th/17th century is so wide of the mark that I wonder whether the author of this article has the vaguest idea what he's talking about.There are books on the subject... The illustration showing an American tomb dating from 1886 is about as irrelevant as you can get - this is Gothic Revival pastiche.Boulet rouge (talk) 18:43, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
