Place of his last years and death

[edit]

There is a mistake in the last two sentences: "After he learned he was not considered for the post, he retired from political affairs and left for Belgium without achieving the purpose of his ill-fated "insurgency". He died in his own home in Ligneuville (Malmedy) Belgium, on 24 January 1887. Married twice, left three daughters." At the time of saint Clair's last years and his death (1887), Ligneuville and Malmedy didn't belong to Belgium, but to the German Empire and within that to the Kingdom of Prussia. --Hajo-Muc (talk) 00:36, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
