Wings/Telephones/Elevators

[edit]

These exact topics were placed at both this page and The Keys to the Kingdom. It shouldn't exist twice, and I think it goes better here, if at all. If you disagree, feel free to change it. Alcemáe T C 19:32, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Denizens

[edit]

Does anyone know where the Denizens of the House page went? 75.88.133.61 23:39, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Axem Titanium made some a lot of changes to this series of articles, and merged several of the stub articles, such as Weirdways and the Improbable Stair, into this one. In addition, he merged the description of Denizens from that article into this one. The majority of the other information on that page was pretty much the same as the information on the Characters of The Keys to the Kingdom page. Alcemáe T C 02:16, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article states that Denizens can be killed by drowning or falling at least 15,000 feet. Is this correct? If I remember correctly, the act of drowning can't kill them; in DW it explains how a Denizen would just float around until they decomposed or were eaten, if I remember correctly. As for falling, where in the books is this specific number mentioned? Furthermore, does this rule apply to all Denizens equally? I would assume a powerful Denizen would have to fall much further than a rank-and-file Denizen. In fact, it is specifically mentioned that the deposed Grim Tuesday would not be killed by merely falling, and that he must have been attacked with sorcery... "House" vs "The House"

[edit]

Should the article be titled The House or just House? I think The House, as it always referred to as such in the books. Anyone oppose or have an opinion? Alcemáe TC 05:41, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No objections, so I'm going to do it. Alcemáe TC 05:35, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arthur's Precedence within the House

[edit]

Arthur is described to be 6th in precedence in the beginning of Sir Thursday, and since Lady Wednesday died, he should be 5th, according to the 'Denizens' section. But Dame Primus could hold a higher precedence than him, since Arthur has delayed his full assumption of power and passed it on to her. Thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.53.95.132 (talkcontribs)

Hm. I hadn't even thought about Dame Primus. However, I don't think she would outrank him, but there's a chance it could happen. But, this is an article on what is known, and not speculation, so we can't really include it. Interesting point though. I  (said) (did) 20:00, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Might the Architect not be 1st in precidence? --212.219.245.253 11:05, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
