The tree is in my local area, I'll take a picture of it for upload next time I'm passing, & it's daylight! Lirazelf (talk) 14:58, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian or Sessile?

[edit]

Think this is a sessile oak, or at least the sources seem to support that. Not sure where the claim for hungarian came from? 2A00:23C6:BE85:2800:A43D:611F:D87E:13D0 (talk) 10:37, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The sign next to the tree says it is Hungarian oak. Can clearly read it in this photo. Though not sure who erected that sign, and when, and how did they determine the species? --Craobh àrd (talk) 04:32, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I visited the tree in May 2022 and it is definitely a Hungarian oak Paulitzer (talk) 14:43, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming the Page

[edit]

The tree was planted by Suffragettes and Suffragists so it's inaccurate to call it the 'Suffragette Oak', according to the research of Dr Yvonne McFadden.[1] MsJoat (talk) 10:08, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
