Sexuality

[edit]

I don't think it is appropriate to put this character in the "fictional gay men" category, as he is never explicitly idetifed as gay or bisexual. His sexuality is ambiguous throughout the series, so it is more appropriate to keep him inn the "LGBT characters" category. Treybien 19:05 31 January 2007 (UTC)

I believe Beecher's family should be mentioned in this list.

I recall:

  • Beecher's wife (Committed suicide\murdered by someone Schillinger sent early in the show)
  • Beecher's son (Murdered by Hank Schillinger, Vern's son, after being kidnapped and having his hand severed)
  • Beecher's daughter (The only member of Beecher's family still alive, IIRC)
  • Beecher's father (His name is Harrison Beecher. Was murdered by Franklin Winthrop to improve his position in the Aryan Brotherhood)
  • Beecher's brother (Killed by Robson while visiting Beecher in prison after Schillinger found out Hank was murdered, and guessed it was Beecher's doing)

Please add more names and family members you remember. OzOz 14:21, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who took care of Beecher's daughter after the death of his father? OzOz 16:18, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just finished watching the series start to finish. Several of the above statements are wrong. Beecher's wife commits suicide by running hte car in a garage (she was not murdered). Beecher's son was murdered and dismembered (not necessarily in that order) by Hank's son. Beecher's brother was stabbed - his fate is never explicitely stated. His father was murdered by Franklin Winthrop. We never get any clues as to the fate of Beecher's mother, daughter, or younger son, but presumably they were OK. I think OzOz was correct in some of those:
About the wife, it remains unclear in the series whether she was forced into suicide/murdered by someone sent by Schillinger. (Schillinger tells beecher he had her killed, but for obvious reasons doesn't back it up)
Hank is the son. Vern is the father. Hank didn't have children. (See wikipedia articles)
About the rest, you are probably right. 85.250.191.231 09:15, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it was mentioned that beechers brother died im petety sure

I don't think Beecher's brother was killed, just shanked. If he had been killed, a civilian dying on prison property at the hands of an inmate, Robson would have gotten death penalty and even if he got off, would spend the rest of his sentence in solitary Whippletheduck (talk) 05:45, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anthrax

[edit]

Please STOP adding mentions to anthrax in regards to the season finale. Anthrax is never mentioned in the episode, and the speed at which victims succumb to the chemical is not consistent with anthrax. At best, it's speculation, and does not belong in a wiki article. Murders Committed

[edit]

This section is misleading. The only murder Beecher committed was that of Karl Metzger. (His stabbing of Chris Keller might also be attempted murder, although I believe the intention was to only injure; if he wanted Keller dead, he had both means and opportunity.)

Kathy Rockwell and Vern Schillinger were accidents, not murder. A murder is an intentional act to kill a specific person. 97.76.216.104 (talk) 11:40, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Season 6

[edit]

The last sentence, "Beecher and the other inmates from Oz after Keller sends the deadly chemical to the mailroom, killing the Aryans." is incomplete and is confusing.
