This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed, feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll review it personally. Thanks. ---J.S (t|c) 07:23, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

I think the material is posted on youtube by the author so isnt a copywright violation.

Adam Buxton characters?

Is there a list of characters Buxton portrays available for addition to this article? I've been advised that Ken Korda is one of them, in which case that article either needs major revision or incorporation into this one. Alan 11:54, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Other Appearences

Should it be mentioned that he was on radiohead's 2007 november 9 webcast? Or is that just too trivial. [1] (skip to 2:05:05) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Drawingshadows (talkcontribs) 05:22, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Chilean ancestry

Can someone check that source where he supposedly claims that his mother was from Chile? Her name was Valerie Birrell, which sounds very British to me. Source: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/12058225/Nigel-Buxton-journalist-obituary.html Even if Adam has claimed this, are we sure he wasn't joking? He is, after all, a comedian. Farrtj, Buxton mentions this in his autobiography. He discusses how his mother is Chilean but never spoke to him in Spanish for fear of "confusing" him as a child. I assume it's true. This Telegraph source, however, makes no mention of her nationality. Popcornfud (talk) 09:18, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Do you have access to the autobiography Popcornfud? It would be a better source to use than the podcast one I think. Tom (talk) 20:04, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Farrtj, I've listened to the audiobook. I think I'm too lazy to track through it and find the timestamp, though. Popcornfud (talk) 20:40, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
