We require your help

[edit]

Dear Wikipedia users,

We - Babylon Software LTD. purchased the translation business from Babylon LTD. back in October of 2014. Since then we have cleaned the software from any toolbars, 3rd party offers and anything that is not the core of the translation software.

We wish to have this article re-written to represent the information about Babylon Software LTD. - remove anything about Babylon LTD. and present the latest version - Babylon NG.

As we are the owners, we are not allowed to edit the article.

Can you please assist us?

Ran Eyal
VP of Sales and Marketing

Contested move

[edit]

Hello. Today, I reverted an undiscussed move from "Babylon (software)" (app name) to "Babylon Software" (company name) that has occurred on Sep 14, 2019. This move is so egregious that amounts to a hoax because article is about an app called "Babylon". (Yes, I checked the official website; the app is still called "Babylon".) The article consistently addresses "Babylon" the app in the prose. The company developing it is "Babylon Software" but hasn't been sufficiently covered to warrant a move. Are "Babylon Ltd." and "Babylon Software Ltd." really different companies?

[edit]

Are "Babylon Ltd." and "Babylon Software Ltd." really different companies? How is this even possible? Trademark laws do not allow two companies with the same name ("Babylon") to co-exist. Waysidesc (talk) 23:34, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
