Exhibition of mastery

[edit]

This material; why should it be in here? It's unsourced, promotional, and gives undue weight to irrelevant material about the school.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:46, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of programs in the lead section

[edit]

This material, why should it be in the lead paragraph? It doesn't summarize anything in the body per WP:LEAD. It's also unsourced and completely irrelevant. This article is not an advertising brochure for the school.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:47, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of faculty

[edit]

List of faculty; why? It's not relevant to the topic of the school. These are non-notable individuals.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:48, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Traditions

[edit]

Traditions; why should this unsourced material be included? There's no mention of it anywhere in reliable sources, there are no descriptions of these traditions anywhere; this is not a school brochure.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:49, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of facilities

[edit]

List of facilities; they have a 1 mile nature trail? Lovely. What does it have to do with anything? Is it discussed in reliable sources? Why should any of this be in here?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:51, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Segregation academy

[edit]

Sourced material removed, why? This is sourced from a reliable source. There's no reason to remove it. It's practically the only salient fact about this school. When it's discussed in reliable sources it's because it was founded as a seg academy. It's not OK to remove sourced material without discussion on the talk page. Please discuss.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:55, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This "When the school first opened classes were held in a local Episcopal church. In 1971 Sea Island Academy merged with Sea Island Baptist School, founded in 1966 by the First Baptist Church of John's Island." is plagiarism straight from the source cited, reinserted by Jeanniehwilson with no explanation. Thoughts?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:44, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained removal of author from citation

[edit]

Here Jeanniehwilson removes the name of the author of a source with no explanation. What possible reason is there to do this?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:45, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of sourced info about scholarship program

[edit]

Here Jeanniehwilson removes sourced information about the school's scholarship program, started to attract minority students. Why?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:46, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How many students go to college

[edit]

Here the sourced fact that 100% of the graduates are accepted for postsecondary ed is removed with no explanation. Why?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:47, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
