History - update needed

[edit]

Some updating of this page is in order as the latest annual figures for Christian Aid Week are in 2013 (BTW added by myself at the time), since when there have been six more years of the week running and fundraiser is now in its 64th year, a move on from its golden anniversary in 2007. I have taken liberty of adding a subsection for 2020 in light of the altered plans for the week caused by the Coronavirus lockdown. (I am one of the local collectors whom the lockdown has made 'redundant' but I have no axe to grind.) This can be added to when the results of this week's fundraising are publicized. Christian Aid have also made dealing with coronavirus in Third World contexts a theme for the week in 2020. It would also be a meet improvement if something could be said as to how it was raising funds in the 12 years before the institution of Christian Aid Week. At time of writing we are towards the end of the 2020 CAW.Cloptonson (talk) 13:36, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
