England?

Why is a Scottish actor a part of the wiki project on England? 138.162.128.52 (talk) 15:34, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clive Russell

[edit]

Guten Tag Herr Thrroadislong. It depends on which path you take. I've noticed you have made quite a lot of changes to Clive's page. I haven't even started with his TV credits which I believe are the longest and most for any British Actor. Why did you delete the Edinburgh piece Clive loved that piece at the time. ' Line Lee ' ? and of course I couldn't hear him. After every performance I saw... I would go to his dressing room and state either he sank the Black - Very good. .. he would come back with his own colour ever time.. its a fun side of Clive which people don't see. Aren't anecdotes permitted. Basically no one touches the page for ages and through his agent and management team and of course Clive. They have permitted me to make the page more readable and put in the relevant references. I do like what you have done. But, we laughed our heads off at ' line lee '? it was a celebrity preview night and we had half of the cast of East Enders in. They all turned and looked at me. To which I said rather loudly ' What? Which was Clives next line. Interviews and from Eastenders performer are on you tube etc.. Line Lee? he said it twice.. My excuse to him was well Clive you're a pro, you have to get yourself out of these things.. and then I told him the truth.. Some extremely funny moments, to which I can still see him rolling about saying 'Ousby you Bastard' Line Lee? Wee Bastard. Very funny, of course I wouldn't use that kind of language in the article. Joe Wenborne is a notable and respected playwright, I was pointing out that the piece was written by Joe. The Star factor in the papers is huge in the festival. It can make or break you. The show was performed at the assembly rooms edinburgh... Best wishes Leon (Lee) Ousby - Actor (talk) 20:43, 11 November 2013 (UTC) PS - I don't want to spend ages writing something and sourcing the refs for it to be deleted.. Its actually hurtful. it seems every administrator has a different opinion anyway. Best wishes. Take the road less travelled by ;-) Best wishes Leon (Lee) Ousby - Actor (talk) 20:49, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anecdotes are not really encouraged unless reliably referenced. As explained in the edit summaries unreferenced self promotion and unreferenced content was removed, wikipedia references were removed because Wikipedia cannot reference itself and non neutral tone was also removed. All good wishes. Theroadislong (talk) 22:03, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Place of Birth & more TV appearances

[edit]

The main body of the text says he was born in Winchester, yet the synopsis box says it was Reeth in the North Riding of Yorkshire. As for additional TV appearances, you can add the first series of "Spender" (though you wouldn't recognize him, as he was made up to have a severely burned face), on "New Tricks" (playing an Albanian!) and in "Drop the Dead Donkey" (playing a police detective). Also, his Scottish accent IS real, as he was brought up in Fife, Scotland.
