Designation style

[edit]

Though a number of variations can be found, official TCM documents, as well as the FAA Type Certificate Date Sheet, refer to the C90 models with no hyphen between the prefix "C" and the "90"; there are, though, hyphens in the suffix section, e.g., C90-8F. In the case of the O-200, there are hyphens both between the prefix "O" and the "200" and in the suffix section, e.g., O-200-A. —SkipperPilot 04:34, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

torque

[edit]

Thanks very much for the article about O-200. Really well done.

Please add hard to find information about torque at several rpm's. Outside USA torque is directly after the power rating the most important value for engines. I cannot understand, that even Continental has never published a such diagram. --Cosy-ch (talk) 16:45, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment. Torque at different RPM may be beyond the scope of a general encyclopedia article, but regardless, we would need to have refs that give the torque vs RPM to include it. - Ahunt (talk) 18:17, 27 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
