Article out of date.[edit]
This article says that the first drive compatible with DVD+RW DL "will come out" in 2007 - it's already 2008 and widely accepted that the format has died. I have added the out of date tag because of this. --Coolbho3000 (talk) 22:52, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, as much as I like DVD Plus technology, I really think that DVD+RW DL has never really caught on, mainly because it has never been properly advertised, also none of these disc's apeared to be sold, the only form that uses this technology are external/internal disc writers, but the same can be said to a far greater extent for it's rival DVD-RW DL. Foranuatly its Recordable once brother, DVD+R DL has caught on quite nicely(more so than DVD-R DL). J2F Duck (talk) 14:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
