This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... According to the requirements to contest a specific article for deletion, The article of Doug Walker (Entertainer) does not fit the requirements. This is because Doug Walker is a significant personality aside from creating content on the internet, (Films, Acting Performances, Release of Nostalgia Critic episodes onto DVD, ect.) Plus, Internet personalities like Jenna Marbles have their own articles for soley being internet personalities and are written without the threat of "Speedy Deletion." --Oman1217 (talk) 20:06, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the tag was added to the article yourself when you re-created it. The issue here is that everything he's notable for is already at That Guy with the Glasses, so there's no real need for a separate article for Walker himself. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 08:05, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS might just mean that this person has either shown individual notability to pass guidelines or they just haven't been nominated for deletion yet. The big issue with Walker is that his show is what is notable here. The man himself hasn't really had any coverage that focuses on him apart from his time with TGWTG. Doug Walker

Hello, I believe it is necessary that Doug Walker should have his own page. Firstly this page would show the more personal aspects of Walkers life and carrier, plus this would better distinguish Doug Walker, the person, as apposed to one of his characters. Also, along with his influences and personal preferences, this page could show Doug Walker in his other endeavors as an actor, director, ect., outside of his site. We don't keep articles because they might be useful or interesting to someone. The subject matter of the article (in this case Walker) has to pass notability guidelines and show that he has notability apart from his show. The problem is that he hasn't received any coverage apart from his show or characters, so we can't have an article about him at this point in time. Place of birth

I read on IMDB that he was born in Naples, Italy. And I know that this website is not a reliable source but I don't know where else to get it from. I also agree with the Wikipedian who said that he should have his own Wikipedia article. Country Girl 18:56, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
