Invention of software componentry

[edit]

I find claim that he "invented the entire concept of software componentry" a bit extreme. My understanding is he was the first to publish or publicly speak about it, but didn't necessarily invent it single-handedly. However, I don't know enough about the history to accurately judge this. -SpuriousQ 06:01, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question Is there any policy on file type in the external links? The sxi file presentation may be interesting but it's an ancient, obscure format. It would be nicer to translate to something more accessible - but then it wouldn't be external any more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.74.58.52 (talk) 12:01, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
