World record list

[edit]

Another editor added Davis' name to the Men's 400 metres world record progression article, pointing me here. There, we're using this as the main reference for that list. Page 548 has the men's 440yard/400m world record list through at least 1999. Glenn Davis does not appear on that list, but an Otto Davis does, setting the record in Rome in 1960 with a time of 44.9. The list in this article doesn't have any references, so I can't really challenge that. I've removed the 440y/440m record as I can't find anything to support it.
