It is true that this page reads like an advertisement. The content is straight from the school's webpage, and seems to have been contributed by an alumnus of the school. Still, the information is correct and valuable. Can other folks who know something about the school, even if they are part of the school community, edit or rewrite this for neutrality? I have no connection to the school, and thus gave it a NPOV treatment that I think addresses most of the issues requiring the tag, including adding an info box and more neutral language. (If the user who placed the tag disagrees, please revert and cite reasons, and please offer what additional information is required for removal.) If someone familiar with the school can add the number of faculty and students to the infobox, that would be helpful. - Nhprman 15:36, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is a fair and more NPOV rewrite. As the Dean of the school, I am reluctant to make edits myself lest I stray from neutrality. Thank you for doing this. The school has 59 students, 7 full-time teachers, and 4 part-time teachers.

Could we change the sentence on the philosophy of the school to say "The philosophy of the school values intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation aimed at eternal salvation"? This is more verbose but closer to what the school states in its long philosophy page on its website.

The school is a member school of the National Association of Private, Catholic and Independent Schools and a candidate for accreditation. The accreditation process is in progress. Karl Cooper 24.128.21.135 17:25, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thank you for this information. - Nhprman 19:37, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Holyfamilyacadlogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Holyfamilyacadlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
