Huainanzi

[edit]

Today I'm going to talk about an ancient myth from China, "Huainanzi". It was written by Liu An(Before Christs 179-122), the leader of Huainan. It was written in Han. It fused Mo, Ru, Fa and Yingyang ideologies. But most of its ideologies are from Dao. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Golden-crocodile Tony (talkcontribs) 07:36, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Textual history

[edit]

The history of the extant text needs fleshing out, since apparently it's been cobbled together from what's left of commentaries by Gao You and some Xu, with Gao's chapters being accepted as legitimate and Xu's sometimes being questioned as later forgeries. — LlywelynII 04:47, 17 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
