Odd phrase

[edit]

What is a "professional atheist"? Not very encyclopedic phrasing, so it's been changed. Article could do with a bit of his background.Autarch (talk) 19:28, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"the wraths of angry mobs of readers from around the world"

[edit]

Looking at the references used to support the above phrase, we have three letters: two from Ireland and one from Sweden (the author has an Irish-sounding name). Granted, "mob" doesn't have a precise definition, but three outraged readers hardly makes a single mob and three letters from Europe is stretching "around the world" a bit. This looks like a case of WP:PEACOCK and needs to be rephrased - will give it a go when I have the chance. Autarch (talk) 14:34, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 05:11, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
